The historic Omni Grove Park Inn is one of Asheville’s most iconic destinations, offering stunning mountain views, rich history, and luxurious amenities. The lobby level showcases the Inn’s century-old architecture and fascinating heritage, making it a destination worth visiting even without an overnight stay. Guests can dine on the Sunset Terrace, a celebrated restaurant with panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, or explore seasonal activities such as the annual National Gingerbread House Competition each winter.
Beyond its history and dining, the Grove Park Inn hosts a variety of annual events, holiday celebrations, and live music performances, offering reasons to visit year-round. Accessibility features include a fully accessible spa with pools and hot tubs, elevators connecting all guest areas, and wide, well-maintained pathways throughout the property. The golf course can be enjoyed via an accessible golf cart, and public areas like the terraces and main lobby are spacious and easy to navigate, allowing all guests to take in the breathtaking mountain scenery.
Parking options include valet service (recommended for ease), paid parking garages, and a self-parking lot. However, the self-parking lot is not ideal for those with mobility challenges due to distance and terrain. A more accessible choice is the Sammons Wing, located just off the left side of the property, which offers 7–10 accessible parking spaces closer to the entrance. With its beautiful views, rich history, and welcoming atmosphere, the Grove Park Inn is a memorable stop for visitors seeking both luxury and accessibility.
